There is a unique opportunity for a Test Engineer to join our highly skilled and motivated company, within the System Team.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and report data from test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) in either an automated or a manual way.
  • Perform testing and prepare the relevant documentation for products being evaluated in the Lab. These products will be – but not limited to - WiFi and Bluetooth modules.
  • Post-process the test results in an efficient and detailed way, through advanced spreadsheet development and scripting.
  • Understand and potentially participate in the design of test fixtures for RF and system characterization, verification and validation.
  • Organize and setup lab procedures, such as, lab inventory, new test instrumentation needs, internal Wiki maintenance etc.
  • Work closely with other teams besides the System team, such as the Digital and analog teams, to understand test requirements and execute test characterisation plans.
  • Build/modify/create test scripts for in-house applications including testing for data extraction, data gathering, and performance.

Main Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Physics or other related discipline with strong emphasis on electronics
  • Great attention to detail and work quality
  • Programming languages and Software knowledge – Python, Matlab, C/C++
  • Proficient spreadsheet usage
  • Understand embedded software
  • Test automation
  • Good understanding of RF/Analog principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent use of English language

Would be a Plus

  • Familiarity with 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax and Bluetooth standards
  • Familiarity with evaluating ASICs and FPGA programming
  • MCU programming
  • Experience in RF / Analog design and simulation
  • Experience in collaborating with remote sites
